I help men who believe they are past their prime to develop a more functional routine they can do from home so that they enjoy a new physical prime of their life.

I've found is that many men believe that their physical prime is behind them. They may have some nagging injuries, have lost range of motion, and often gained weight they'd like to lose. They have trouble sticking with their exercise routines which may feel good in the short term, but are not particularly convenient and do not provide the intrinsic benefits of being a flow state nor the extrinsic results of producing the body they want.
The reality is that they need a more efficient routine that focuses on skill development that is fun, cathartic, and provides the zen experience of a flow state. And, they need a practice that will enable them to improve their basic range of motion for pain-free movement. They also likely require awareness and potential adjustments in beliefs that help them stick with a new collection of routines to produce the results they want.
I offer a range of services including one-on-one coaching, group coaching, and workshops. These services are designed to help clients overcome obstacles, improve their mindset, and achieve their goals.
Discovered a love of boxing at age 27 which became a lifelong passion and my favorite way to get exercise. Eventually realized that the ability to enter flow states from the convenience of my garage - while getting full-body workouts and developing as an athlete - was why this habit remained fun and interesting to me for over 20 years. In 2022, began going deep on Mindset training which enabled me to understand my limiting beliefs and resentments that have at times held me back in life. Came to the realization that mindset is actually the foundation for any success I've achieved in and out of the ring. In 2023, discovered a deep stretching routine that expanded my basic range of motion (BROM) for pain free movement - particularly when used in conjunction with ice baths. Additionally, found using somatic practices over many years provided access to the inner depts of my consciousness and created what Wim Hof calls the "inner fire" to ease the ice bath process. I've found that this collection of practices used in conjunction provide balance in my life and results in my performance and physique that create a healthy addiction.
I take a collaborative approach to coaching where we'll get specific about what you desire and identify any beliefs that may be holding you back. We will define your current strengths and weaknesses to develop a straight path to achieving your goals. We'll get you set up with the right boxing equipment (based on your interest, space and budget) so that you can achieve flow states from home while getting a full body workout. And, we'll have 13 video calls for accountability, feedback on your boxing skills, mind set coaching, breath work, and deep stretching for expanding BROM.
What I've learned is that Mindset is really the foundation of any success we achieve in life. By first getting your mindset properly set, everything else will more easily fall into place. Basic Range of Motion (BROM) is the next priority to eliminate aches and pains and allow your body to move as needed to deliver powerful punches. Focus on the proper technique is then the focus as once these are in place the power, and eventually the speed, will be inevitable.

While this program is designed to be done remotely from the comfort of home, anyone living in or wanting to travel to Austin is welcome to join me in Leander, TX (North Austin area) where I do open workouts once or twice a week which generally include all of the practices - breath work, ice bath, boxing & strength circuit, followed by deep stretching.
